Where to Meet

Our standard departure point is located in Coral Bay at the local dock behind Skinny Legs. There is ample free parking and it is a short dinghy ride out to CATION.

We ask that you contact us by text, before you depart Cruz Bay, to avoid communication interruptions. Cell service on St. John can get quite tricky.
About Us
Your Stay
Our boat, CATION, is anchored in the tranquil waters of Coral Bay, typically just a few hundred yards offshore. Close enough to shore but far enough away to be relatively secluded. Your main access to and from the boat is via our dinghy. Our dinghy is always available, on-call, to whisk you to and from shore.
Your stay aboard CATION begins on your arrival at our meeting point. We will transport your party and luggage from the shore to the yacht. You will settle in with an introductory tour and safety briefing. As you get your bearings and really unwind, you can review your plans for your trip and discuss any special requirements with your hosts. (Be sure to highlight any special dietary needs of your party, PRIOR TO BOOKING, so that we may provision appropriately.)
Once the initial formalities are completed, you can relax and enjoy life afloat for the duration of your stay.
Leave behind the stress and worry of the outside world and lounge about the boat. Plan shore trips. Plan some water sports. Dine aboard or dine ashore, the choice is yours. If you don’t have your own transportation ashore, we can also help arrange land-based transportation to get you from Coral Bay to any of the various attractions elsewhere around St John.
Your days are your own – you decide how to spend your time. Relax and unwind on the boat; read a book, play games, watch a movie, or just lounge on the deck or in the hammock, lost in your own thoughts. Swim or snorkel off the boat, take a kayak or one of the other water toys available on CATION, and enjoy the temperate, blue waters of the Caribbean. Explore one or more local destinations ashore.
We’ll assist in any way we can to get you where you need to be to enjoy your day. One of the main benefits of staying aboard a boat is – we’re mobile! We have the option of weighing anchor and taking a day excursion or two aboard CATION to one of several nearby anchorages to take advantage of a quick change of scenery or underwater wildlife options. Picking up anchor and moving does require some planning, so please, discuss this option with us in advance.
At the conclusion of your stay, we will transport your party back to shore to meet up with your transportation to your next destination. If it’s within reach, we may also be able to transport you directly. There are many possibilities – please, don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss your wants and needs prior to booking. The only silly question is the one you don’t ask!

A hearty, daily, onboard breakfast is included in your package. Our booking staff will note any dietary preferences prior to your arrival. If you choose to dine ashore, we are more than happy to suggest several local establishments to suit your needs. As always, the dinghy is at your disposal for transport to and from the shore on demand.
